This proclamation of truth is not a prayer necessarily. The point of a proclamation is to let your spirit speak truth to your soul. Have you ever had a conversation in your own mind? It’s like the classic cartoon with the devil and the angel on the shoulders of the character telling two different points of view. Proclamations of truth strengthen our spirit and tell our soul what it needs to hear in order to walk in freedom. This breaks the chains of deception that the soul is prone to believe.
